Overview: The AMERICA'S ARMY ADAPTIVE THINKING & LEADERSHIP game is used to train Special Forces Team Leaders today. Players who are Adaptive thinkers demonstrate competencies such as negotiation, the ability to communicate effectively, analyze ambiguous situations, and be self-aware. In this presentation we discuss a new twist on the FPS and the real-time assessment of in game actions that can be applied by game designers interested in novel game play techniques.
