This session will show the challenges and key success factors for an Asian developer and an European publisher in a partnership for operating and marketing an Asian MMOG in the Western world. It will be a dialogue between the developer and the publisher and therefore give the audience good insights in both perspectives. The session will show the operational and strategical topics to be worked on by both partners along the value chain. Both speakers will describe the important tasks and solutions from their individual point of view in order to give an overview in which areas a MMO publisher works directly with the developer including game improvement, quality assurance, server hosting, community management, customer support, patch cycle management, item shop management, asset creation, marketing, pr and new content development.
