Overview:

Art Direction in established game spaces can be quite the balancing act. You have to find the right places to be different and where to stick to conventions, all of that while playing to your team's strengths and experience to meet your milestones effectively. Add to that having to execute with a small team and things can get even more tricky. In this session we'll show how and why artistic choices were made and how we went about finding the most efficient methods to create the art for SkyRama, our first free to play browser game.
