The role of a producer is multifaceted. This talk will attack the idea of producers who hide behind spreadsheets and schedules, and are not engaging in all facets of development. We will set expectations for leadership during a game's production. The best producers are standard bearers for a team, the internal and external face of a product. They are drivers and protectors, communicating with competency to all disciplines. To be that much to that many takes considerable skill. This talk is not for the faint of heart! A great producer is hard to find because it is hard to be great.
