Overview: Why is it so hard to attract women to the game industry? What can game educators do in order to even the gender balance? In order to actively work towards an inclusive game education, the DONNA network was founded in 2011. Five years later the amount of female applicants has increased substantially and DONNA has become a strong voice for gender equality within the Swedish game education and industry. This presentation gives concrete examples of how DONNA has worked with gender inclusive game educations and presents the challenges it faced and methods it developed to meet those challenges.
