Web3 Forum: Building Great web3 Game Experiences with HyperPlay (Presented by HyperPlay)

Overview:

Web3 gaming is more than secondary markets for in-game items. Diablo 3 had that over a decade ago, and it didn't need a blockchain to accomplish it. nnThis talk will explore web3 game worlds based on principles of interoperability where assets can be permissionlessly carried across the decentralized web and where gaming universes can be extended by the community. nnThis talk will cover how builders can implement this vision using HyperPlay, a web3-native game launcher and aggregator of game stores. HyperPlay allows players to discover and install any game from the Epic Store, GOG, or HyperPlay's own store, and integrates with MetaMask and WalletConnect for simple in-game transactions, even in native desktop games. Both native desktop games and browser games are supported. Developers can implement in-game transactions, and are free from de-platforming and Apple-tax fees.
