Overview: Digital card and board-game 'Armello' was released in 2015, and found itself gradually transitioning into the melting pot of an ongoing Games as a Service (GaaS) model. As it wasn't something the team had planned for during development, studio League of Geeks had to pivot their strategies for tackling a live game. Lead producer Lisy Kane will walk through the team's learnings and failures throughout GaaS development and serve up some tips, tricks and pitfalls to avoid for expanding your game post-release. She will go through the iterating changes of production processes, tools and services tried and tested by the team, as well as exploring what the future may hold for GaaS.
