Guild Wars 2: Scaling from One to Millions


Guild Wars 2 developers can run the entire Guild Wars server stack and the game client on a single machine. This same code scales to support a million players. In this session, ArenaNet studio technical director Stephen Clarke-Willson will discuss the challenges and benefits of scaling Guild Wars 2. He'll provide examples of how technology was developed to support a massive range of scaling for the award-winning online roleplaying game.
