Oculus Story Studio's Dear Angelica: Inventing, Integrating, and Rendering Quill


This talk covers the visual exploration the team at Oculus went through to land on the creation of Quill, a VR illustration tool written for Dear Angelica. They will share what went into integrating this tool into their production pipeline and explain some of the techniques used to create and review the film in Unreal Engine 4. The second half will go deep into the rendering algorithms and optimization techniques they used on the project.
