|Technical Art Director, Lydia Choy, will be detailing the design, prototyping and development process for the UI of 'Oculus Medium', a VR sculpting app that shipped in 2016. In its 2.5 years of development, there was a lot of UI exploration that Oculus would like to share, and explain what worked and what didn't. They discovered approaches that helped them develop a mental framework for how to add functionality to a sculpting experience that could scale beyond a proof of concept, and Lydia will explain how Oculus iterated with the feedback from artists and non-artists.
