Overview:

Community Management: It is more than forum moderation. So which skills are necessary to fulfill this job best? In former times community managers often were recruited right out of the community, when it became obvious that they are dedicated to the game, have good skills in writing and a helpful behavior. Sometimes it even happened that they got recruited from another department of the company without having any clue of what a community manager does. This panel shall show how the requirements for a community manager changed dramatically and explore if there is the need of a standardized (international) training.
