When GamersFirst's subsidiary Reloaded Productions purchased the remains of the $100 million AAA title "All Points Bulletin" in November 2010 to redevelop the game as a Free2Play microtransaction-based game, it was clear that the road to relaunch would be complex and filled with surprises. In this lecture Bjorn Book-Larsson, COO/CTO of GamersFirst and head of Reloaded Productions examines the design choices and changes in the April 2011 Beta and the August 2011 Live relaunch, and how those design choices have altered the monetization of the game.
