Overview: Development teams at Riot own their entire production pipeline - from the first line of code to worldwide deployment. No one outside their team is required at any stage of the process, drastically reducing the time from project conception through delivery to players. This talk covers the technical details of Riot's utilization of Docker to solve problems at all stages of that pipeline. Among other benefits, containerization has allowed Riot engineers to simulate production scenarios locally, create on-demand disposable build environments, and deploy more simply and predictably.
